Kyokushinkai

World's Strongest Karate

Kumite (Free-fighting)

During class our students actively particpate weekly in free-fighting. There are basically two types of fighting our students particpate in which is "line sparring" and "point fighting". Our free fighting sessions are supervised by trained and qualified upper belts.

Kata (Forms)

Kata or forms are a big part of Kyokushinkai karate especially in the testing process. Our style is very traditional and our forms can be tracked back to our founder Master Oyama dated as far back as the mid 1950's. Kata focuses on technique and is essential for promotion.

Buki (Weapons)

We teach the use of nearly all weapons at our dojo. Including but not limited to the Bo and Si all the way to the Nunchucks or Tomfa. Weapon training is implemented during the intermidete and higher belt levels.
